Learning English

Indeed I am not such smart in language. Recently Ian has appreciated my improving of writing, I guess that enables him spend less time to proof reading my essays, he noted that the improvement is huge in comparing to the first time he read my essay. Somewhat it is true as myself can feel so, at the very least writing in English can be a enjoyable thing while I am developing the idea. Sometimes it drives me 'crazy' to study grammar books and check the grammar in the book which I was reading then. What I mentioned crazy means that I enjoyed doing so.

However, after reading and writing by myself for ages, I sometimes feel my listening and speaking is a bit worse. Today I met a peer in the department and talked some recent study with him, even some very simple terms needed to be thought for several seconds before talking by me. That is unfluency. Oh, it bothered me, indeed.

The reason is simple. I have kept practicing and finding tips of writing. But I have neglected other two as I thought it's not a big problem to me. My past two IELTS test got good grade in reading and speaking (e.g. score 7) so that I didn't keep in mind about that. In the end I really need to admit that I am not a smart bi-linguist. Even if you work hard on something that do not mean it will give you perfect feedback, but it's no way to obtain a satisfy result without hard-working.
